Been here a couple of times, Burgers are always hot and Juicy. French fries are fresh cut. They also know how to make chicken wings. Not a lot of parking

Very well known for delicious burgers and great chili. They are not up on the craft beers that everyone else has jumped on board with, but they are still a well known permanent staple in a neigborhood that has pretty much changed in every way that most folks wish it hadn't. I guess when something is as good as Louie's it will stand the test of time though.

I live near this place and it's my goto place to meet friends for a quick lunch. I was fond of one of the servers who has moved on (as people who work in that field do) but they are always attentive and the food is well above average bar food.

There are a handful of worthy candidates, but it's my opinion that Louie's serves up the best burger in Akron.

Found this place while looking for a local place to grab a burger while on lunch. Clean, good service, and yeah the food rocked! I will be back because food was waaaaay better than expected and the girl working the bar at lunch was really sweet. This is why you shop local and say screw the chains! Because when you become pleasantly surprised it’s like you found gold!

Great service and the louie burger was amazing

It was just ok. You could tell the burgers were grilled as they did have char marks which was nice. However the main issue lies in the burger itself, there seems to be zero seasoning which equates to zero flavor.

Best burgers in Akron! Terrific appetizers and excellent service make this a perfect dining experience. Nothing fancy, just stick-to-your-ribs food and drink.

Food used to be good. This trip was different. Fries had odd color; like the oil hadn't been changed in quite some time. My wife and I both had gastric disturbances as soon as we got home. Burgers weren't as good either.

Lived around the corner for years until we moved out of the area. However we still come back all the time to eat some of the best burgers in town. Basically the only reason we are ever back in that area. You will get your money's worth here.

This local, out of the way neighborhood bar/restaurant is worth looking for. Walking in, you can almost feel what the mill workers or rubber workers felt after doing a shift & looking to get cold beer or burger before going home. Been here twice; once for the burgers and once for a steak sandwich. Both times the food was excellent. Good place to people watch too. There is a small parking lot on the side of the house. (Bonus---across the parking lot is a donut shop)

awesome place. we were looking for another local classic with great food/people and we found it. Brought my 15 and 17 yr olds,all 3 of us gave it 5 stars.

Great burger as no a cold draft. Wife had the Ranchero burger. It has bacon, 2 onion rings and barbecue sauce. I got all jacked up ,jalapenos and hot pepper cheese. There both great.

Great food and service

Burgers there are amazing! The service could have been better. 45 minute wait on food. Several tables that arrived and ordered after us received their food before we did. Waitress never checked if we needed anymore to drink until after we received our food. Hopefully next time I'll have a better experience.

Louie's is a must eat joint. It's an old building with some great eats at a reasonable price. Their burgers are large and juicy and their chicken wings have a crunchy outside. When you're done taking a burger to the face, I'd recommend the fried cheesecake with cherries!

My wife and I have been on a quest over the past several years to find the best burger in the Akron/Canton area. This is it. These are the best burgers. Made to order exactly as requested. Ingredients were fresh. Love this place!

Well, Ive been going here for years, since high school. And up until today, the food was excellent, in my honest opinion, the burgers rivaled Swensons. Not today. The order I received was very bad. The burgers were dry, and not juicy like Im used to. They were all burnt up and charred, and not the good charring. The bacon on the pictured burger was burnt to a crisp, literally charcoal, and the bun was burnt as well. I will update my review next time, as I was extremely disappointed at my hometown North Hill staple. Hopefully the review will change.

The food is good, but the service is always SLOW and the servers inattentive. We used to overlook the service and servers because the food was good. The last time we went we waited over 40 minutes for our food, and spent $50 but was asked to leave, by Louie himself because we stayed 5 minutes after we were does eating while we were finishing up our drinks. Why? Because we decided to play a round of cards while we had our conversation and adult beverages which are overpriced. We had been going there a couple times a month, because we like to support local businesses, but we will never be going back.Great place to go if you love slow food, servers who got their jobs through nepotism and don't care and if you like being humiliated for doing something completely peaceful and enjoyable while you talk and finish your $5 beer.

Nice old school bar and grill with friendly service, ice cold beer, and most especially great food. Our Bacon Cheese Supreme burgers and fries were excellent and everything came out fresh and hot. We'll definitely be back.

Great tasting food at a genuine old tavern. Some of the best burgers in town. Don't go if you are in a hurry, but they always seem to get me back to work on time from lunch.

Our first time visit was amazing! Bartender is super friendly, great food and great service at a little dive bar is always fun to us. Burgers, wings and pepperjack bites are on point. Will definitely be back!

Went here for lunch on a recommendation from a coworker. This place is situated in the North Hill district. I ordered the Mile high burger. What a wonderful 1/2 burger. The bun is toasted just right. The burger is a knock out. I mean a great burger. The price is spot on. The fries are crispy and not overly greasy. I would recommend this place to somebody out of town.

Honestly probably Akron’s best (in my opinion of course☺️) or at the least top3 Burgers 🍔 in the area. Don’t expect some big restaurant, it’s gotta home style dim friendly & attentive atmosphere. On the smaller side but not the point, their burgers and wings SUPER DANK!!💯touché 👌🏼

I had the Italian Sausage Sandwich, Server was kind enough to have it put on a plate instead of basket. Sandwich was very good.

Ordered 2 dozen wings to go. All breading not much meat for $18. Very disappointed. Love their burgers but really disappointed in the wings
